Worship Service - Third Sunday of Advent - Joy

Our worship during the 4 weeks of Advent, we will look deeply into the rich tapestry of prophecy that was fulfilled by God. We will also examine the lives of 2 unsuspecting mothers to be, as well as 2 fathers, and the roles they played in the lives of John the Baptist and Jesus, our soon to be “New Born King.” We welcome you to come and explore this world changing story from the book of Luke 1: verses 1- 80, and selected verses from Mark 13 and Matthew 1.

Linda and Bill Gardner will light the third advent candle, Joy.

This week's special music will feature Emmy Henderson and the Ensemble singing "Who Would Imagine a King, " and a women's ensemble singing "Mary Did you Know,"

Elder, Matt Henderson will be reading  Isaiah 40: 1-5.

Today's message is "Two Expectant Mothers Meet."  Reading from Luke 1: 39-63, Jeff Montague is reader.
